SMS Setting

SMS Setting option is used to set the SMS for all modular SMS Like fee dues SMS, Transport SMS, Attendance SMS.

Follow the below-mentioned steps to Create New SMS:-           
  • Click the SMS menu.
  • Open the SMS Setting option.
        
  1. There are different tabs for the SMS setting of modules. Which are as follows:-
  1. Enquiry:- After updating SMS settings for Enuiry, whenever a new Enuiry is saved in Enuiry module, then a SMS will send on saved contact number.
  1. Registration:-After updating SMS settings for Registration, whenever a new registration is saved in Registration module, then a SMS will send on saved contact number.
  1. Student:- After updating SMS settings for Student, whenever a student new entry is saved in Student module, then a SMS will send on saved contact number.
  1. Fee:- After updating SMS settings for Fee, whenever deposit fee of a student in Fee module, then a SMS will send on registered contact number.
  1. Fee Director:- After updating SMS settings for Fee Director, whenever deposit fee of a student in Fee module, then a SMS will send on registered contact number of Director.
  1. Fee Dues:- After updating SMS settings for Fee Dues, then you can send the fee dues SMS to student from Fee Dues List option of Fee module.
  1. Fee Online:- After updating SMS settings for Fee Online,You can send online fee request SMS to student from New Entry option of Fee Module.
  1. Transport:- After updating SMS settings for Transport,You can send Transport related SMS to student from SMS option of Transport Module.
  1. Attendance:- After updating SMS settings for Attendance ,You can send summary report of student attendance or absent SMS to student from Attendance Module.
  1. Result Online:- After updating SMS settings for Result Online ,Whenever online result will saved a SMS will send to registered contact of student.
  1. Teacher App:- After updating SMS settings for Teacher App , You can send Teacher App related information to registered contact number of Teachers from Teacher option in App module.
  1. Student App:- After updating SMS settings for Student App , You can send Student App related information to registered contact number of Students from Student option in App module.

Note- For every module there are already given a predefined template. Here, you can also create you own SMS  template.

Make Sure for Sending SMS your templates is approved on DLT Portal

SMS Setting  for if you create your own template

If you want to create your own template then follow the below-mentioned steps:-

  1. Click on SMS Setting option in SMS module 
  2. First unchecked the all boxes of Insert Dynamic Values option. 
  3. Write your SMS in SMS template field.  
  4. Click on the checkboxes of that dynamic values in the place where you want to insert the dynamic values.
  5. When you create template in SMS template field, DLT template field content automatically change.
  6. Copy DLT template for approval from DLT Template field.
  7. Click on Update button.

If you want create template for enquiry like this

Dear Vikas, you enquiry for admission. Enquiry date-22-Apr-2021. Please visit again. Thanks. VKSGKP

Then your SMS Template will be like this

Dear #student_name#, you enquiry for #enquiry_type#. Enquiry Date- #enquiry_date#. Please visit again.Thanks. <VKSGKP>

Note:- Above SMS Setting process is same for all tabs of modules. (Enquiry, Registration, Student, Fee, Fee director, Fee Dues, Fee online, Transport, Attendance, Result online, Teacher App, Student App).



SMS Setting for Predefine template

  1. Click on SMS Setting option in SMS module 
  2. In DLT Template area already given a predefined template.
  3. Enter the template ID in SMS DLT template ID field from DLT portal.
  4. If you want to send Auto SMS click the checkbox of Auto Send SMS. 
  5. Click on Update button.

Note- After updating the SMS settings an SMS will be sent to saved number.


Note:- Above SMS Setting process is same for all tabs of modules. (Enquiry, Registration, Student, Fee, Fee director, Fee Dues, Fee online, Transport, Attendance, Result online, Teacher App, Student App).
